I have been in the hairdressing industry since 2005, from leaving school and starting my apprenticeship at Trevor Mitchells, to then owning my own salon. I have loved every minute of it and It was always my goal to have my own salon one day. I work very closely with my staff and help them to be the best they can be so we can provide the best service for our customers. seeing my staff grow is an achievement. Even though I enjoy all aspects of hairdressing my main specialties involve short haircuts, restyling and gents cutting.
I have always been really into hairdressing and Since the age of 14 I have always known I wanted to be in an industry where every day is different. I love to try out new techniques and expand my knowledge by attending courses. This then helps keep the salon current and up to date on new trends. I love transformations, extensions & colouring are my favourite aspects.
I started hairdressing as an option at school where I completed NVQ level 1. After working in various salons and completing my level 2 I put hairdressing on pause to raise my family. I then became part of justice for hair and completed NVQ level 3. I have attended barbering courses to keep my skills up to date. My main specialties involve perming and installing synthetic dreadlocks.
I moved to justice for hair in April 2016 from a previous salon. I am qualified in NVQ level 2 and 3 in ladies. I have also done my NVQ in barbering. Since being at the salon I have been put on a perfecting bob course which has helped my confidence grow. My favourite aspects of hairdressing involve cutting & hair up.
I started at the salon as a Saturday girl. Since then I have complete NVQ level 2 in hairdressing and eventually finish barbering and NVQ level 3 in hairdressing. I have also attended a Zen tape hair extension course. Each day is different but my favourite aspect of hairdressing involve blow-drys and hair up.
Since starting in 2018 as a Saturday girl I am now doing my apprenticeship and going to college one day a week. I enjoy learning new things and each day is different. Since starting, my confidence and communication skills have improved. The best thing about working at justice for hair is working with an enthusiastic team.
